Gunfire Incident Sparks Panic in Gachibowli, Hyderabad
A shooting incident caused panic in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, today after a criminal opened fire on the police. The suspect, who was at Prism Pub in Gachibowli, fired two rounds when police arrived to apprehend him. During the exchange, Constable Venkatram Reddy and a bouncer sustained injuries. The constable was hit in the thigh by a bullet.
The police successfully subdued the assailant, later identifying him as Prabhakar, a most-wanted criminal with multiple cases against him. Senior police officials have initiated an inquiry into the incident. The injured constable and the bouncer were rushed to a hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.
