Chandrababu Naidu Slams YSRCP, Vows to Restore AP’s Progress

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Motakathla village in Annamaiah district today. During his visit, he personally distributed social pensions to beneficiaries by going door to door. In a separate event, he handed over electric autos to selected beneficiaries and later interacted with auto drivers to understand their issues.

Addressing a public gathering in Motakathla, Chandrababu Naidu strongly criticized the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, accusing it of ruining the state. He alleged that the Polavaram project was submerged in the Godavari River due to the mismanagement of the former administration. Expressing disappointment, he claimed that Andhra Pradesh had regressed by 20 years under the previous government. Chandrababu Naidu further stated that the people had suffered losses for five years under YSRCP rule and emphasized the need for a shift in public mindset. He asserted that the Polavaram project would be completed by 2027.

Chandrababu Naidu highlighted his contributions to Hyderabad’s development, claiming that his efforts were evident in every phase of the city's progress. “We developed Hyderabad back then, and now we are committed to the development of Amaravati,” he said. He criticized the previous government's three-capital proposal, stating that it led to administrative chaos.

The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to securing a bright future for the youth. He announced plans to establish tech towers at the mandal level to facilitate work-from-home opportunities for software engineers in rural areas. He emphasized that the coalition government aims to ensure that at least one person in every household secures an IT job.

Chandrababu Naidu described the inflow of major investments into Andhra Pradesh as a positive sign. He stated that the state had secured investments worth ₹6 lakh crore within just six months. He reaffirmed his commitment to the Swarnandhra 2047 vision, which aims to eradicate poverty in Andhra Pradesh by 2047.
