Araku Utsav Celebrated Grandly: Collector Abhishek Sings, IAS Officer Impresses with Dance

The Araku Utsav, a winter festival in the scenic tourist destination of Araku Valley, Alluri district, commenced grandly on Friday. The festival, titled Chali Utsav-25, was formally inaugurated by Alluri district collector A.S. Dinesh Kumar. The celebrations are being held at the Government Degree College grounds.

The festival showcases the region's tribal cuisine and commercial crops through specially arranged stalls. Artists from seven states have participated in the event, adding to the cultural vibrancy. IAS officers also took part in the festivities, donning traditional pink turbans and performing dances. A key highlight of the event was IAS officer Abhishek singing the popular Telugu song Neeli Neeli Aakasam from the movie 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela.

Authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure that locals and tourists enjoy the three-day festival. A significant increase in tourist footfall is expected over the weekend, particularly on Saturday and Sunday.
