Congress Finalizes Graduate MLC Candidate

The Telangana Congress has finalized its candidate for the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduate MLC constituency. The party has announced V. Narender Reddy as its candidate for the upcoming elections.

The Graduate MLC elections will take place across 42 Assembly constituencies and six Parliamentary constituencies in the region. A total of 3.41 lakh graduate voters are eligible to participate in the elections. Previously, this region was considered a stronghold of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). However, it is notable that the BRS has decided not to contest these elections.

Elections for three MLC seats in Telangana are scheduled to be held soon. The election notification is set to be issued on February 3. The nomination scrutiny will take place on February 11, followed by the withdrawal of nominations on February 13. Polling is scheduled for February 27, and the results will be declared on March 3.
