Another Plane Crash in the U.S.: Small Aircraft Crashes in Philadelphia, Six Feared Dead

A small aircraft carrying passengers crashed near Philadelphia, United States, resulting in a massive fire. The incident occurred near Roosevelt Mall on Friday evening, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The crash caused flames to spread to nearby houses and vehicles, leaving several cars completely burned.
The aircraft, a Learjet 55, took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport and was en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri. However, it crashed shortly after takeoff, within five kilometers of the airport.
FAA officials initially reported that only two people were onboard, while Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy later confirmed that six individuals were on the flight. Authorities believe all onboard may have perished in the crash.
This accident follows a recent aviation disaster near Washington, where a passenger plane collided with a military helicopter, killing 67 people.
