Attack on TDP Office and Inappropriate Comments on Bhuvaneshwari Are Both Wrong: YSRCP Leader Kethireddy

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Kethireddy Venkatarami Reddy has condemned the attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Mangalagiri and the inappropriate comments made by YSRCP leaders against Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He acknowledged that both incidents were wrong and stated that resorting to violence was not an acceptable approach.
Recalling a past incident in Tadipatri, Kethireddy mentioned that he had also condemned his uncle Kethireddy Pedda Reddy when he went to the residence of TDP leader J.C. Prabhakar Reddy. He emphasized that resorting to attacks in a democracy sets a wrong precedent. He further stated that he does not believe these attacks were carried out as a party decision but rather as an attempt to appease YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing the comments made about Bhuvaneshwari, Kethireddy said that if YSRCP leaders had indeed made inappropriate remarks, the party leadership should have intervened and condemned them. He argued that the failure to do so has led people to perceive that Chandrababu Naidu is being harassed like a victim. However, he noted that despite being insulted and criticized, Chandrababu Naidu remained composed and handled the situation strategically.
Kethireddy also observed that Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and the verbal attacks on Pawan Kalyan had ultimately helped strengthen the alliance between the two leaders.
