Telangana to Form Yadadri Temple Board on the Lines of TTD

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has taken a crucial decision regarding the administration of Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. Steps are being taken to establish a governing board for the temple, modeled after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The Chief Minister has directed officials to proceed with the formation of the board and has suggested some modifications to the draft guidelines prepared for its establishment.
On Wednesday, Revanth Reddy held a review meeting at his residence to discuss the regulations for appointing the governing board of the Yadadri temple. During the meeting, he emphasized that, similar to Tirumala, political influence should be kept away from the temple administration, and all necessary precautions should be taken to maintain the sanctity of the temple.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the provisions outlined in the draft guidelines related to spiritual and service activities to be undertaken by the temple and suggested changes to certain regulations concerning the governing board’s formation.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Principal Secretary of the Endowments Department Shailaja Ramaiyer, and other officials.
