TTD Refutes Allegations of Mistreatment of Chaganti Koteshwara Rao, Files Complaint

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has lodged a police complaint against YouTube channels for allegedly spreading false information about prominent spiritual orator and Andhra Pradesh government’s advisor on ethical values, Chaganti Koteshwara Rao. Recent online claims suggested that Chaganti Koteshwara Rao faced humiliation in Tirumala, which the TTD has strongly refuted.

According to TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, a formal complaint was filed against the administrators of YouTube channels Dial News, Post 360, and Journalist YNR. The complaint alleges that these platforms distorted facts and deliberately spread misleading content with the intention of tarnishing the reputation of TTD.

B.R. Naidu stated that the misleading claims had the potential to harm the religious sentiments of devotees and damage TTD’s global reputation. In addition to the police complaint, TTD has also reported the issue to the Press Information Bureau (PIB) offices in Delhi and Vijayawada. Furthermore, the temple board has requested YouTube’s management to take action against these channels for spreading misinformation.

B.R. Naidu clarified that Chaganti Koteshwara Rao, who holds cabinet-rank privileges, was provided with proper arrangements for Sri Venkateswara Swamy’s darshan on January 14 as per protocol. He alleged that certain individuals intentionally propagated falsehoods regarding the arrangements made for Chaganti Koteshwara Rao.

TTD has warned of stringent action against those spreading misinformation that could mislead devotees and harm the organization’s credibility.
