Dress Code Implemented at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple: No Entry for Short Skirts and Revealing Attire

Mumbai’s renowned Siddhivinayak Temple has introduced a dress code for devotees, which will come into effect from next week. The Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust (SSGTT) has announced that devotees must adhere to traditional Indian attire and ensure their clothing provides full coverage.
The trust has explicitly stated that individuals wearing skirts, torn jeans, transparent outfits, or any revealing attire will not be permitted inside the temple.
This decision follows complaints from some devotees who reportedly felt uncomfortable due to others visiting the temple in Western-style clothing. Addressing these concerns, the trust issued a directive stating, “Devotees wearing trousers, torn jeans, short skirts, or transparent clothes will not be allowed entry.”
