IndiGo Flight Delayed After Passenger Opens Emergency Exit Before Takeoff

A passenger caused a stir by opening the emergency door of an IndiGo flight just moments before takeoff. The incident occurred on a flight scheduled to depart from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to Bengaluru on Tuesday morning.
As the aircraft was preparing for takeoff, the passenger unexpectedly opened the emergency exit, alarming fellow travelers. The airline crew immediately alerted the pilot, and the individual was removed from the aircraft. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials took the passenger into custody for further questioning.
Due to the disruption, the IndiGo flight was delayed by 20 minutes. In an official statement, IndiGo Airlines expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to other passengers and assured that measures would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
