John Wesley Replaces Thammineni Veerabhadram as CPM Telangana State Secretary

John Wesley has been appointed as the new state secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) for Telangana. He succeeds Thammineni Veerabhadram, who previously held the position. Party sources confirmed that John Wesley was chosen as the state secretary during the CPM’s state conference held in Sangareddy.

Hailing from Amarchinta in Wanaparthy district, John Wesley has a long history of leadership within the party. He has previously served as the state president of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and the Committee Against Caste Discrimination.

The fourth CPM Telangana state conference took place in Sangareddy from January 25 to January 28, where party representatives convened and made this key leadership decision.
