January 31 Marks the Start of Parliament Budget Sessions; Chandrababu Directs TDP MPs

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Parliamentary Party convened under the leadership of party chief Chandrababu Naidu in preparation for the upcoming Parliament Budget Sessions set to begin on January 31. CM Chandrababu Naidu provided guidance to the party’s Members of Parliament (MPs) regarding strategies to be followed in both houses of Parliament. Discussions focused on coordination for securing funds, strategic approaches, and addressing key bills expected to be introduced by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.

In addition to TDP MPs, senior party leaders participated in the meeting. Reports indicate that the party deliberated extensively on critical issues, including aligning its parliamentary strategy with the objective of maximizing benefits for the state.

Following the meeting, TDP MP Kalishetti Appalanaidu spoke to the media, asserting that the TDP had achieved in seven months what the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) could not accomplish in five years. He highlighted the successful acquisition of funds for Amaravati and Polavaram projects, as well as securing a package for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Appalanaidu also criticized YSRCP leader Vijayasai Reddy, alleging that he exploited the Uttarandhra region and disregarded the sentiments of its people.
