Unemployed graduates aiming for government jobs have received good news, as multiple recruitment notifications have been released by the central government, state governments, and public sector undertakings. The Indian Railways plans to fill over 1,000 vacancies, while the Central Bank of India, Odisha Police, and Delhi Teacher Recruitment Boards have also announced job openings. Deadlines for applications extend into the first week of February, and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply without delay after reviewing the notifications thoroughly.

The Indian Railways has announced 1,036 vacancies across various departments. Candidates who have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) can apply, with additional qualifications such as Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees required for specific posts. For teaching positions, candidates must hold a B.Ed., D.El.Ed., or have cleared the TET. Applications opened on January 7 and will close on February 6. The Railways has advised candidates to refer to its official website for detailed eligibility criteria and application procedures.

The Central Bank of India has issued a notification for the recruitment of 266 Zone-Based Officer positions. Vacancies are distributed across Ahmedabad (123), Chennai (58), Guwahati (43), and Hyderabad (42). The application process is already underway and will conclude on February 9. Selection will be based on written tests and interviews.

The Odisha Police Recruitment Board is inviting applications for 933 Sub-Inspector and other positions. Candidates must apply by February 10. The selection process includes a written examination and physical tests, with selected candidates earning a monthly salary of ₹35,400. While citizens from across India can apply, posts will be allocated to out-of-state candidates according to applicable rules.

Additionally, the Delhi Teacher Recruitment Board has announced 432 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) vacancies. The application deadline for these positions is February 14.
