Chandrababu Expresses Anger Over CK Palli Incident; Action Taken Against Hostel Warden

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed strong dissatisfaction over an incident at the BC Boys Hostel in CK Palli, Sri Sathya Sai district, where midday meals were allegedly not provided to students. The Chief Minister discussed the matter over the phone with District Collector T.S. Chetan, voicing severe criticism of the negligence shown by the hostel authorities.
Collector T.S. Chetan informed the Chief Minister that arrangements for providing meals to the students were made immediately after the issue came to light. Following the conversation, Chandrababu Naidu ordered a full-scale investigation into the incident and directed the immediate removal of negligent staff. Acting on these instructions, the Collector issued orders to remove the hostel warden from duty.
Meanwhile, Minister Savitha also addressed the issue, holding discussions over the phone with the District Collector and officials of the BC Welfare Department. The Minister sought clarification on why midday meals were not provided at the hostel and criticized the negligent attitude of the authorities. She ordered the immediate dismissal of CK Palli BC Boys Hostel HWO (Hostel Welfare Officer) Narayana Swamy.
Following the Minister’s orders, the BC Welfare Department ensured that meals were provided to the hostel students. Minister Savitha emphasized that parents entrust their children to hostels with confidence in the authorities, who bear the responsibility to protect and care for them diligently. She warned that negligence towards hostel students would not be tolerated and stated that such staff, if found guilty, would be removed from their positions. This was further reinforced in a press release issued by her office.
