Andhra CM Chandrababu Hosts First-Ever AI-Led Press Conference

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, known for his proactive adoption of advanced technologies, has pioneered yet another innovative practice. For the first time, he conducted a press meet using an artificial intelligence (AI) system, eliminating the need for cameramen and videographers. This press meet, which offered live coverage facilitated by AI, took place at his residence in Undavalli.

Although the AI setup could have been funded by government resources as it was organized from the Chief Minister's camp office, Minister Nara Lokesh decided against it. Instead, Lokesh personally funded and oversaw the arrangements.

The AI-driven system employed a multi-video camera setup with four cameras strategically installed in the meeting hall. When Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu entered the hall and directed one of the cameras, the live stream commenced. As the Chief Minister detailed highlights from his Davos trip, the AI system adjusted the video output dynamically, ensuring that he remained the central focus in the frame.

Typically, a live press meet of this scale would require approximately eight cameramen and staff. However, the AI system allowed the task to be managed seamlessly with minimal personnel, thereby reducing unnecessary movement and distractions in the hall.
