Why Should Free Rice Be Given Without Modi's Photo?: Bandi Sanjay

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay questioned why free rice should be distributed without Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photo on the new ration cards. He suggested that if the Prime Minister's photo is not included, the central government might consider directly distributing the free rice to the poor. Speaking to the media today, he warned that if houses sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana are named after Indiramma (a reference to a former government scheme), not a single house would be approved.
He expressed confidence that regardless of when elections are held, the BJP would claim victory in the Karimnagar Corporation elections. He alleged that even though he brought funds from the central government, BRS leaders never invited him over the past ten years. He criticized BRS leaders for starting development projects under the Smart City Project only after he secured funds for Karimnagar.
Bandi Sanjay accused the state government of never inviting him to official programs, despite his efforts for the development of Karimnagar. He stated that the progress in Karimnagar was possible solely due to the funds provided by the Modi government and emphasized that people have recognized this fact. He accused the former BRS administration of widespread corruption and illegal practices and claimed that present Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is following in the footsteps of former Chief Minister KCR.
