Noman Ali Creates History as Pakistan Spinner Secures Rare Hat-Trick

In a historic performance during the second Test against the West Indies in Multan, Pakistan spinner Noman Ali etched his name in cricketing history. Noman became the first Pakistan spinner to achieve a hat-trick since the nation played its inaugural Test in 1952.

Noman’s hat-trick came as he dismissed Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach, and Kevin Sinclair in consecutive deliveries. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the visiting West Indies team struggled against Noman’s exceptional spell. The spinner dismantled their batting lineup, leaving them reeling at 38 for the loss of seven wickets.

However, the West Indies’ tailenders fought back to rescue their side from complete collapse. Gudakesh Motie scored a resilient half-century (55), while Kemar Roach contributed 25 runs, and Jomel Warrican added 36 runs. Despite their efforts, the team was bowled out for 163 runs.

Noman Ali was the standout performer with six wickets, single-handedly demolishing the West Indies batting order. Sajid Khan supported with two wickets, while Kashif Ali and Abrar Ahmed each claimed one wicket.
