Vijaya Sai Reddy Resigns from Rajya Sabha Membership

Vijaya Sai Reddy, a prominent leader of the YSRCP, submitted his resignation from his Rajya Sabha membership on Saturday. He handed over his resignation letter to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, adhering to the official Speaker format.
On Friday, Vijaya Sai Reddy publicly announced on the social media platform X that he was stepping away from politics. Following this declaration, he submitted his resignation to the Rajya Sabha Chairman today.
Vijaya Sai Reddy was first elected to the Rajya Sabha by the YSR Congress Party in 2016. In 2022, YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy re-nominated him for another term, which was set to continue until 2028. However, Vijaya Sai Reddy has chosen to resign three years before the end of his term.
