In a surprising development, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Rajya Sabha Member Vijayasai Reddy announced his decision to step away from politics. Taking to social media, he stated that he will resign from his Rajya Sabha membership tomorrow (January 25). He clarified that he is not joining any other political party and emphasized that his resignation is not motivated by any aspirations for positions, benefits, or monetary gains.
“This decision is entirely personal, free from any external pressure or influence,” Vijayasai Reddy asserted, adding that his choice was driven solely by his personal convictions.
Ayodhya Ramireddy Announces Similar Move
In a parallel announcement, another YSRCP leader and Rajya Sabha member Alla Ayodhya Ramireddy declared his intention to quit politics. Speaking from abroad, where he is currently traveling, Ayodhya Ramireddy revealed that he plans to resign from his Rajya Sabha membership next week.
