Kishan Reddy Questions State-Focused Agreements in Davos

Union Minister Kishan Reddy has criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's Davos visit, questioning the decision to take only Telangana-based companies to the World Economic Forum and signing agreements exclusively with them. He stated, "I do not understand the state government's policy. Investments should come from foreign countries and other states." He also emphasized that the agreements signed in Davos should not remain on paper but must lead to ground-level implementation.
Kishan Reddy alleged that the previous BRS government had shown favoritism towards certain businesspersons and accused the current Congress government of harassing industrialists. "Not a single industrialist escaped harassment under the Congress government," he claimed.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy returned to Hyderabad this morning after concluding his Davos tour. The state government’s agreements, including one with Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL), have drawn criticism from opposition leaders.
