As part of Cognizant's growth strategy and regional expansion plans, we have requested them to start operations in tier-2 cities like Visakhapatnam. We have also asked them to partner with the AP government to create a highly skilled workforce in AI and quantum computing," Lokesh explained.

Cognizant CEO S. Ravikumar stated that they have announced plans to relocate 80,000 employees from tier-1 to tier-2 cities.
