APPSC Group-1 Recruitment: Mains Exam Schedule Released

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has officially announced the dates for the Group-1 Mains examinations. According to the commission, the exams are scheduled to be conducted from May 3 to May 9. APPSC Secretary stated that candidates were shortlisted for the Mains exam at a 1:50 ratio, with a total of 4,496 candidates qualifying for the Mains stage. It was also revealed that this year, the question papers for the Mains examination will be provided through tablets.

In December 2023, APPSC issued a notification for the recruitment of 89 Group-1 posts. The preliminary examination for these posts was conducted on March 17, 2024. Following requests from candidates for additional preparation time, the commission decided to schedule the Mains examination in May. Exam centers have been established in Visakhapatnam, Amalapuram, Vijayawada, and Tirupati.
