Reliance Jio Revises Tariff Plans Again

Reliance Jio has once again surprised its customers by announcing a revision in its tariff plans. The telecom giant, which significantly increased its prices in July last year, faced strong dissatisfaction from users at the time. Many subscribers, unhappy with the higher rates, switched to other networks offering cheaper recharge plans.
In response to this backlash, Reliance Jio introduced new, affordable plans with better benefits to retain its customer base. This move successfully reduced the number of users migrating to competing networks.
However, in a recent announcement, Reliance Jio revealed that it is increasing the price of its popular postpaid plan. The ₹199 plan will now cost ₹299, marking a ₹100 hike. The revised prices will take effect from January 23, 2025. Under this plan, users will continue to enjoy unlimited calls and 25GB of monthly data.
Additionally, Jio stated that new users must pay ₹349 instead of ₹299 to avail of the same benefits, adding another layer of differentiation between existing and new subscribers.
