Minister Bharat’s Remarks on Future CM Lokesh in Zurich Anger Chandrababu

At a meet-and-greet event organized by the Telugu community in Zurich, Switzerland, Andhra Pradesh Industries Minister T.G. Bharat stirred controversy with his remarks about Nara Lokesh. Bharat stated that Lokesh, the current Minister for IT and Electronics, would be the future Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He asserted with confidence that this would inevitably happen, regardless of opposition.

The comments, however, did not sit well with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was present at the same event. Expressing his displeasure, Chandrababu Naidu rebuked Bharat for voicing personal opinions in a public forum. Reports indicate that Chandrababu Naidu admonished Bharat, asking, "Why are you speaking like this here? What have we come here for, and what are you talking about?" The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of staying focused on the purpose of such events and cautioned against making irrelevant and controversial statements. He made it clear that similar remarks should not be repeated in the future.

The event also saw the participation of Nara Lokesh and Union Minister K. Rammohan Naidu. However, neither commented publicly on the incident.
