CBN Is Our Brand: Nara Lokesh Praises Chandrababu Naidu

Zurich, Switzerland – Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, held a heartfelt meeting with members of the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community today during his visit to Davos. Speaking at the event, Lokesh highlighted the leadership and entrepreneurial spirit of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief and the present Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, emphasizing his global reputation.

Lokesh stated, "When asked why industrialists should invest in Andhra Pradesh, I have one response: our brand is CBN. The name Chandrababu Naidu alone opens doors at any global company—such is his influence." He further revealed that many are unaware of Chandrababu Naidu's entrepreneurial background, saying, "Chandrababu Naidu founded four companies, three of which failed, but he succeeded with Heritage Foods. This determination and perseverance define him."

A Symbol of Resilience

Lokesh underscored Chandrababu Naidu’s resilience during challenging times, particularly referencing his arrest and imprisonment. "Despite setbacks, he remained undeterred. Life is full of ups and downs, but Chandrababu Naidu stands as an example that persistence and commitment to one’s principles ultimately lead to success," Lokesh said.

He highlighted the achievements of the TDP under Chandrababu Naidu's leadership, including winning 94% of seats in past elections and sustaining the Amaravati movement over the last five years. Lokesh also mentioned Chandrababu Naidu's proactive measures, such as safely evacuating Telugu citizens from Ukraine during the crisis.

Empowering Andhra Pradesh

Lokesh discussed efforts to strengthen the party and the state, including the establishment of an Empowerment Center at the party office for training initiatives. Reflecting on his role as a minister, Lokesh said he prioritized reforming institutions like OMCAP (Overseas Manpower Company Andhra Pradesh), an initiative originally launched by Chandrababu Naidu to create opportunities for Telugu individuals in overseas blue-collar jobs.

"Wherever Telugus go, Chandrababu Naidu’s vision has been to ensure they are always number one," Lokesh asserted, adding that working with Chandrababu Naidu is not an easy task due to his relentless drive for excellence.

Call to Action for NRIs

Lokesh urged NRIs to contribute to rebuilding Andhra Pradesh with the same dedication they showed during past elections. "During election campaigns, NRIs took leaves and returned to India to ensure the coalition’s victory. Now, it’s time to channel that spirit into the reconstruction of our state. Together, we can demonstrate to the world what Andhra Pradesh stands for within five years," he said.

Lokesh concluded by emphasizing the importance of law enforcement and accountability. "We will not hesitate to act against those who violate the law. The Red Book initiative has begun, and it is my responsibility to see it through to completion," he affirmed.
