Balakrishna Reveals His Belief About Wearing Black Clothes on Sundays

Tollywood veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, well-known for his devotion and strong beliefs, recently made an interesting revelation about a personal superstition he follows. Speaking at the success meet of his film Daaku Maharaj, Balakrishna shared his strict avoidance of wearing black clothes on Sundays, calling it a dangerous choice for him.

Balakrishna explained that as he was born under the Moola Nakshatram (a specific star in Vedic astrology), black clothing on Sundays is considered inauspicious for him. Recalling a past incident during the filming of his iconic movie Aditya 369, Balakrishna detailed how wearing black on a Sunday led to a significant mishap.

"Once, I wore black clothes on a Sunday during the shooting of Aditya 369. SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was also a producer for the film, visited the set that day. Despite my inner voice warning me against it, I ignored the feeling and went ahead with my choice of attire. To my dismay, I slipped and injured my back badly in front of him," Balakrishna recounted.

The actor added that the incident left such an impact on SP Balasubrahmanyam that he never visited the set again during the film's production. This event, Balakrishna said, solidified his belief in avoiding black clothes on Sundays.
