TTD Clarifies: No Disrespect Occurred to Chaganti

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has refuted claims circulating on social media that prominent spiritual speaker and Andhra Pradesh government advisor Chaganti Koteshwara Rao faced disrespect during his visit to Tirumala. Issuing a statement, the TTD clarified the circumstances surrounding the incident and addressed the false allegations.

According to the TTD, Chaganti Koteshwara Rao was scheduled to deliver spiritual discourses at the Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on January 16, as per proceedings issued on December 20. As part of the cabinet protocol privileges, arrangements were made for him to have darshan at the Tirumala temple on January 14.

The TTD explained that while special provisions were made for Chaganti to directly access the temple through the biometric gate near the sanctum due to his age, he politely declined the facility. Instead, Chaganti chose to visit Lord Venkateswara like a common devotee, using the Vaikuntham Queue Complex to complete his darshan.

The TTD strongly condemned the false rumors being spread on social media, asserting that no disrespect occurred during Chaganti’s visit. It also warned that legal action would be taken against those disseminating misinformation.
