IRCTC Announces Special Train from Secunderabad to Kumbh Mela

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special train for devotees traveling to the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The train will depart from Secunderabad on February 15 and return to the city on February 22, covering an eight-day journey that includes visits to prominent pilgrimage sites such as Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj.
IRCTC has structured a comprehensive package for the journey, offering economy-class tickets priced at ₹23,035 for adults and ₹22,140 for children under 11 years.
The train is scheduled to reach Prayagraj on February 18. Devotees will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kashi Vishalakshi Temple, and Annapurna Devi Temple in Varanasi on February 19 and stay there overnight. The following day, on February 20, the train will reach Ayodhya, where passengers can visit Sri Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanuman Garhi before commencing their return journey. The train will arrive back in Secunderabad on the night of February 22.
To accommodate travelers from various locations, the train will halt at multiple stations en route, including Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Duvvada, Pendurthi, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur (Berhampur), Chatrapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, and Balasore.
