Tourists Stranded Upside Down on Amusement Ride at Nampally Exhibition
A major scare unfolded at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad yesterday evening when an amusement ride malfunctioned, leaving visitors stranded upside down for nearly 30 minutes. The incident occurred during the ongoing Numaish exhibition, creating panic and chaos among attendees.
The ride abruptly came to a halt mid-operation, causing those onboard to remain suspended in an inverted position. Terrified passengers screamed for help as the situation unfolded. The unexpected halt led to confusion and commotion at the exhibition venue.
Exhibition staff worked diligently for an extended period to resolve the issue and eventually succeeded in bringing the ride back to a safe position, allowing the passengers to disembark. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Organizers later attributed the malfunction to a battery issue and assured visitors that the matter had been resolved.
