KTR to Appear Before ED Today; BRS Working President Makes Intriguing Tweet

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) is set to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today in connection with the Formula E-Car case. The ED has registered a money laundering case against KTR in relation to the event. Responding to the summons, KTR expressed his views on the matter through a post on social media platform X, emphasizing the significance of the Hyderabad E-Car race during his tenure as a minister.

He described the event as one of the most prestigious initiatives he had undertaken, adding that racers had lauded Hyderabad for hosting the event. KTR remarked, “Hyderabad’s brand and reputation have always been my priority. No case filed by the Congress can erase that achievement.”

Refuting allegations of corruption, KTR questioned the basis of the case. “After transparently paying ₹46 crores through a bank-to-bank process, where is the corruption? Where is the money laundering?” he asked.

He also criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging that his lack of foresight led to the cancellation of the subsequent Formula E season in Hyderabad. KTR accused the Congress government of dragging out the case despite there being no evidence of wrongdoing. He concluded by asserting that the truth would emerge soon.
