''We Will Provide Rythu Bharosa Based on Records": Key Remarks by Telangana Deputy CM

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka made significant remarks regarding the Rythu Bharosa scheme, stating that financial assistance to farmers would be provided based on revenue records. He announced that ₹22,500 crore is being allocated for the construction of Indiramma houses, ₹2,000 crore for the Indiramma Aatmiya Bharosa scheme, and ₹19,000 crore for the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Vikramarka emphasized that there is no need for doubts regarding the implementation of these schemes.
Explaining the selection of beneficiaries and the implementation process, he stated that the cabinet issued its announcement only after thoroughly discussing the guidelines. He assured that ₹12,000 per acre would be provided to all cultivable lands under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Farmers holding ROFR (Record of Forest Rights) pattas will also be eligible for this benefit, he added. Vikramarka reiterated that the scheme will be executed by the agriculture department based on official revenue records.
He further clarified that under the Indiramma Aatmiya Bharosa scheme, agricultural laborers without even a cent of land, who have worked at least 20 days under the Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) and possess a job card, will be eligible for assistance.
Addressing concerns about ration cards and Indiramma housing schemes, he affirmed that only those meeting eligibility criteria will be selected. Government officials were instructed to conduct village assemblies (Gram Sabhas) to explain the welfare schemes and finalize the list of beneficiaries through these meetings. Approval certificates for beneficiaries will be handed over by officials and public representatives during these assemblies.
Vikramarka also mentioned that Indiramma committees would oversee the proper implementation of welfare schemes as per government orders (GOs). He underlined the critical role of these committees in monitoring welfare programs to ensure their successful execution.
