Pawan Kalyan Extends Sankranti Greetings to Telugu People

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended heartfelt Sankranti greetings to the Telugu people, encompassing Bhogi, Sankranti, and Kanuma festivities. Sharing his message through social media, Pawan Kalyan posted a letter reflecting on the cultural significance of the festival.

“Sankranti is a vibrant blend of rangavallulu (decorative patterns), gobbemmalu (decorative cow dung arrangements), gangireddu (decorated oxen), Haridasulu (traditional singers), Bhogi bonfires, and a variety of traditional dishes. Witnessing people flocking to villages in search of such festive joy is a testament to the special place this festival holds in their hearts," Pawan Kalyan remarked.

The Deputy Chief Minister also expressed concern over rural depopulation caused by migration to cities for livelihoods. He noted that during Sankranti, the rejuvenation of villages with the presence of children and families brings great joy. He further emphasized, “The prosperity of villages is the prosperity of the nation. I sincerely wish for our villages to flourish with joy, prosperity, and abundance, and for the people of both Telugu states to lead happy and prosperous lives.”

Pawan Kalyan, who is also the chief of Jana Sena Party, concluded by reiterating his hopes for a joyous and prosperous Sankranti for all Telugu families.
