Bench Set Up in Front of Jagan’s Residence in Tadepalli Destroyed

In the Andhra Pradesh capital region, Tadepalli, a bench placed in front of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's residence was reportedly destroyed by party leaders. According to police reports, two individuals involved in the incident have been taken into custody.

The incident took place on the road behind Jagan Mohan Reddy's residence, where local Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Gorla Venugopal Reddy installed five benches on Saturday night for the convenience of passersby. Among these, a bench set up opposite a cattle shelter became the focal point of the disturbance.

On Sunday morning, YSRCP leaders Meka Anjireddy and Shravan Kumar Reddy allegedly toppled the bench, prompting its immediate reinstallation. However, shortly afterward, the two leaders reportedly returned and destroyed it again. Acting on this information, police apprehended Anjireddy and Shravan Kumar Reddy for their involvement in damaging the bench. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
