IT giant Cognizant has increased the retirement age for its employees from 58 to 60 years. According to reports in national media, the company communicated this change through an internal memo to its employees. The revised retirement age is said to apply to employees working in Cognizant's offices across India.
Several IT companies traditionally maintain the retirement age at 58 years. However, Cognizant has now extended it to 60 years, aiming to retain the expertise of experienced professionals and maximize their contribution.
