Union Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar also reacted to the incident through a post on ‘X’. He stated that he was deeply saddened by the stampede and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, while wishing the injured a quick recovery.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the news of devotees losing their lives in the stampede near the Vaikunta Dwara darshan ticket counters in Tirumala was profoundly distressing. In his post on ‘X’, he expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and extended his sympathies.

Kishan Reddy Calls the Incident Disturbing

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy termed the incident shocking. He expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the stampede at the ticket counter set up for Vaikunta Ekadashi in Tirupati. Reddy added that he had spoken with Minister Nara Lokesh, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, and TTD Board Member Bhanuprakash Reddy to understand the situation better. He requested that medical aid be promptly provided to the injured.

Bandi Sanjay Expresses Shock

Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay expressed his shock over the stampede that claimed the lives of devotees. In a statement, he conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and urged the Andhra Pradesh government to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured. He also prayed for the swift recovery of the victims.
