Chandrababu Lauds PM Modi, Predicts NDA Victory in Delhi

In a public address at Visakhapatnam today, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow as a grand success, calling it a historic event for the state. “Today marks a memorable day in Andhra Pradesh’s history. We have laid the foundation stones and inaugurated projects worth ₹2,08,548 crores through Prime Minister Modi,” said Chandrababu Naidu, expressing gratitude to Modi and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their support in the state’s development.

Highlighting key initiatives, Chandrababu Naidu said, “The long-awaited Visakhapatnam railway zone project commenced after the coalition government came into power, under the blessings of Prime Minister Modi. We are investing ₹1,877 crores for a bulk drug park in Nakkapalli and ₹2,300 crores for the Krish City project near Krishnapatnam.”

According to Chandrababu Naidu, seven railway projects worth ₹6,177 crores have been initiated, and three projects have already been launched. Additionally, the inauguration of seven national highways was also conducted. He pointed out, “Our government has been in power for just seven months, and this is Prime Minister Modi’s first visit after the elections. With his visit, we have started projects worth ₹2 lakh crores. The entire state should applaud Modi’s efforts.”

Calling Narendra Modi a leader who constantly supports development and achieves the impossible, Chandrababu Naidu dismissed criticism that Modi’s popularity is confined to northern India. “Some say Modi’s admiration is limited to the North, but he is a leader admired globally. In the recent elections, Modi, Pawan Kalyan, and I joined forces, achieving an unprecedented strike rate of 93%, winning 164 out of 175 assembly seats and 21 out of 25 parliamentary seats.”

Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence in the NDA’s future, stating, “In both Haryana and Maharashtra, the NDA coalition achieved decisive victories. As for the upcoming Delhi elections, mark my words—NDA will win there too, thanks to Modi’s leadership. When you work for the country, people stand by you, as demonstrated by today’s overwhelming chants of ‘Modi, Modi.’”

He praised Modi’s reforms and governance, citing initiatives like PM-Kisan, which provides ₹6,000 annually to farmers, and the continuation of the free rice scheme started during the COVID-19 pandemic. “With visionary programs like Make in India, Startup India, Digital India, Skill India, and Gati Shakti, Modi is transforming the nation into a robust economic powerhouse. Millions of homes have been built for the poor,” said Chandrababu Naidu.

He further lauded Modi’s pro-farmer policies, noting the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, which benefits four crore farmers, and the decision to continue fertilizer subsidies worth ₹3,850 crores. Initiatives like PM Surya Ghar and Kusum were also highlighted, which enable people to generate solar power at home, reducing future electricity expenses.

Chandrababu Naidu shared, “In 2014, India ranked 11th in the global economy, and today, it stands fifth. By 2029, we aim to be third, and by 2047, we will be the world’s number one economy—a feat achievable only under Modi’s leadership. Modi ensured justice for Andhra Pradesh during bifurcation by transferring seven Telangana mandals to Andhra for the completion of the Polavaram project.”

He credited Modi for establishing institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, and Tribal and Central Universities in Andhra Pradesh between 2014 and 2019. Chandrababu Naidu assured that the NDA government is committed to fulfilling all promises, including the "Super Six" guarantees, adding that despite existing challenges, the focus remains on governance, welfare, and development.

Discussing investment growth in the state, Chandrababu Naidu stated, “With coordination from the central government, we are enhancing our brand image. Just as Mumbai is India’s financial capital, Visakhapatnam is becoming the financial hub of our state. The world-renowned Araku coffee is a result of our Prime Minister’s initiative.”

In conclusion, he said, “Prime Minister Modi, you have always been my inspiration. You laid the foundation stone for Amaravati, and we are moving forward from where it was halted. We will make that dream a reality.”
