Raghunandan Rao Questions BRS Allegations on BJP Over KTR Case
BJP MP Raghunandan Rao strongly reacted to BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha's comments that the BJP files cases against those who question the central government. He questioned the connection between BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the case involving KTR. "Police file cases against those who commit wrongdoings and present them before the court. What role does the central government have in this?" he asked.
Raghunandan Rao added that if BJP intended to intimidate through cases, they would have targeted Chief Minister KCR first. He criticized BRS leaders, likening them to "dead snakes," claiming they speak out sporadically to assert their relevance. He further stated that Kavitha was spared harsher criticism because she is a woman, but otherwise, his response would have been different.
He cautioned BRS leaders, saying, "Don’t overestimate yourselves. People have already rejected you once, and if you repeat the same mistakes, they will do so again." He described the BRS as a misfortune for Telangana.
