Telangana RRR: Central Government Unveils Four-Lane Expressway Plans
The central government has announced major infrastructure development for Telangana with the invitation of tenders for the construction of a four-lane expressway as part of the northern section of the Regional Ring Road (RRR). The expressway will stretch from Girmapur in Sangareddy district to Yadadri’s Rayagiri.
The project, with a total budget of ₹5,555 crore, has been divided into four packages. As per tender conditions, the construction is expected to be completed within two years.
Package 1: Covers 34.518 kilometers from Girmapur to Reddipalli in Sangareddy district.
Package 2: Includes 26 kilometers from Reddipalli to Islampur.
Package 3: Comprises 23 kilometers from Islampur to Pragnapur.
Package 4: Extends 43 kilometers from Pragnapur to Rayagiri in Yadadri district.
