“I Am Here as a TDP Worker, Not CM’s Wife,” Says Nara Bhuvaneswari in Kuppam
Nara Bhuvaneswari stated that during the tenure of Chandrababu Naidu, who tirelessly worked for the welfare of the people, the state witnessed prosperity. Expressing her concerns, she said that during the past five years of "oppressive rule," people from all sections of society faced difficulties. She emphasized that with the coalition government coming to power, such oppressive governance has been halted.
On the fourth day of her visit to the Kuppam constituency, Bhuvaneswari participated in an interactive session with women at Chaldiganipalli in Ramakuppam Mandal. Later, she attended the inauguration of the restored NTR Sujala Sravanthi Water Plant in V. Kota of the Palamaner constituency, a project supported by Heritage Foods.
“I Will Visit Kuppam Every Three Months”
Bhuvaneswari promised to visit the Kuppam constituency every three months to oversee developmental activities closely. “When I came here to file my nomination during the last general elections, I assured you that I would take responsibility to address your problems. While Nara Lokesh is focused on Mangalagiri, I am dedicated to the development of Kuppam,” she said.
“I have not come here as the Chief Minister’s wife; I am here as a TDP worker,” she affirmed.
She also mentioned that CM Chandrababu Naidu remains deeply concerned about the constituency. “He frequently inquires about the development activities in Kuppam and is determined to ensure progress in the area. The previous government, out of animosity towards Chandrababu Naidu, neglected development in Kuppam. From now on, you will not face any difficulties,” she added.
Highlighting Chandrababu Naidu's efforts, she said, “Chandrababu Naidu introduced 40 schemes to boost Kuppam's growth. We are focused on roads, drainage systems, housing for all, and employment generation. Industrial projects like food processing units are on the way, ensuring local job opportunities to prevent migration.”
Economic Empowerment of Women
Bhuvaneswari emphasized the importance of empowering women financially, saying, “For the past four days, I have been highlighting the strength of women in every meeting. Women are powerful and can outperform men. They must shed their fears and step forward to achieve wonders.”
Reflecting on Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, she said, “When Chandrababu Naidu was unlawfully detained, and during my ‘Nijam Gelavali’ (Truth Must Triumph) Yatra, women across the state stood by me, offering immense courage and inspiration. We cannot repay your support, but we will ensure that the fruits of development reach you.”
A Unique Gathering of Women Activists
A large number of TDP women activists gathered at Chaldiganipalli to meet Bhuvaneswari. Dressed in yellow saris and wearing sunglasses emblazoned with the slogan “Jai Telugu Desam,” they became a striking highlight of the event. Upon seeing them, Bhuvaneswari stepped out of her car to greet them warmly and accepted the sari and turmeric-kumkum offerings they presented.
