Telangana High Court Grants Relief to KTR
The Telangana High Court has granted relief to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) by directing that he should not be arrested for 10 days. The court instructed the state government to file a counter-affidavit by December 30 while ordering KTR to cooperate with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) investigation.
KTR filed a petition seeking the quashing of a case registered against him concerning the Formula E car racing event. Supreme Court advocate Sundaram represented KTR, while Advocate General Sudarshan Reddy argued on behalf of the government.
