Key contributions came from KL Rahul (84) and Ravindra Jadeja (77), whose resilient partnership helped India evade the follow-on threat. At stumps, Jasprit Bumrah (10*) and Akash Deep (27*) were unbeaten, adding a valuable 39-run partnership for the final wicket. Akash Deep impressed with a 31-ball knock featuring two fours and a six, while Bumrah struck a six of his own.
