Ilaiyaraaja Responds to Allegations of Disrespect at Temple

Legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja was rumored to have been disrespected at the famous Srivilliputhur Andal Temple in Tamil Nadu. Reports claimed that temple priests did not allow him to enter the sanctum sanctorum to see the deity, forcing him to view the deity from outside. These rumors sparked intense discussions on social media.

 In response, Ilaiyaraaja issued a statement clarifying that these reports are false and urged fans and the public not to believe such rumors. 

He emphasized that he never compromises on his self-respect and that the incident being reported never happened.
