CM Chandrababu Outlines Education Reforms to Build Knowledge Society

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need for reforms in the education sector to align with the government’s objective of building a knowledge-driven society. Addressing a review meeting with the Human Resources Department, he urged officials to work with dedication toward achieving this goal.

“We must adapt the education system to international changes through online and offline methods. Our aim is not to suppress the private education sector but to strengthen public education to match its standards. Telugu students should emerge as leaders in the global knowledge economy in the coming years,” said Chandrababu Naidu.

He proposed sending special teams to reputed national and international universities to study their teaching and learning methods. Based on their findings, the curriculum should be updated to improve rankings in NIRF and global evaluations. He also stressed establishing universities focused on future growth areas like civil aviation, green energy, and tourism.

Balancing skills and employment is crucial, he added. As part of this strategy, the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Amaravati will integrate skill development institutions from five state zones. “We must focus on digital teaching and learning while upgrading skills according to societal needs,” he stated.

The Chief Minister also urged officials to emphasize vocational education, improve school ratings through collective team efforts, and strive for educational excellence. "All officials must work toward enhancing the education sector with utmost dedication," he concluded.
