Chandrababu Announces Rajya Sabha Candidates

In light of upcoming elections for three vacant Rajya Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have announced their respective candidates. TDP National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu released a statement confirming the nominees. From the TDP, Beeda Mastan Rao and Sana Satish have been chosen, while R. Krishnaiah will represent the BJP in the contest.

The elections were necessitated by the resignations of Mopidevi Venkataramana, Beeda Mastan Rao, and R. Krishnaiah from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), who also stepped down from their Rajya Sabha memberships. Polling for these seats is scheduled to take place on December 20, with the vote counting set to occur the same day.
