YS Jagan Has Lost People's Trust, Party Should Be Handed Over to Vijayamma: Vasireddy Padma
Former YSRCP leader and ex-Women's Commission Chairperson Vasireddy Padma sharply criticized YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. She alleged that Jagan has lost the trust of both the people and party workers, demanding that he step down from the party leadership and transfer the responsibility to his mother, YS Vijayamma.
Speaking alongside MP Kesineni Chinni in Vijayawada, Padma also targeted YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy. Responding to Vijayasai’s suggestion that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu should be replaced, Padma retorted that it is YSRCP's leadership that needs a change first. She accused Vijayasai of engaging in petty politics.
Padma further alleged that every scheme introduced by the Jagan government seems to be linked to a scam, with evidence gradually emerging. She criticized the former Chief Minister for diverting attention from controversies by creating unnecessary political drama.
After the YSRCP’s poor performance in the recent Assembly elections, Padma distanced herself from the party and later resigned. Although she announced her intention to join the TDP, the official date for her induction has not been finalized.
