Nara Lokesh Impresses All by Clearing His and Chandrababu’s Plates After Lunch
Nara Lokesh, the Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics in Andhra Pradesh, made an impression at a Parent-Teacher Meeting in Bapatla Municipal High School through both his speech and actions. Lokesh shared nostalgic memories, emphasized the importance of education, and exhibited humility by clearing his and his father Chandrababu Naidu’s lunch plates.
Speaking at the event, Lokesh reflected on his school days and how Parent-Teacher Meetings were a cherished memory. “During my childhood, my mother used to attend these meetings as my father, a ‘teacher’ for the entire state, was often occupied. Seeing all of you reminds me of those times,” he said, addressing students and parents.
Nara Lokesh expressed his admiration for children, saying they reminded him of his son, Devansh. Despite his busy schedule, Lokesh emphasized his love for spending time with children, stating, “Children are our future. It’s my privilege to be the Minister for Education, a role that directly shapes young minds.”
Highlighting the government's initiatives, Lokesh said, “We announced a mega DSC with 16,347 posts. The recruitment process will be completed transparently within six months. Teachers are the backbone of the system, and we are committed to strengthening education through their contributions.”
Nara Lokesh also addressed systemic changes in education, including eliminating unnecessary tasks for teachers, such as administrative duties and irrelevant app usage. He reiterated Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of making Andhra Pradesh’s education system a national model with reforms like the KG-to-PG curriculum.
Reflecting on the community’s role in education, Nara Lokesh quoted the Chief Minister, saying, “For any system to improve, everyone must participate—students, parents, teachers, and management committees. Society's involvement is crucial for creating an ideal education system.”
The highlight of the event was a simple yet impactful gesture. Lokesh, along with his father and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, sat on the floor to have lunch with students. Post-lunch, Lokesh carried both his and Chandrababu’s plates to the designated area, earning widespread appreciation for his humility and grounded demeanor.
