Pawan Kalyan Praises Teachers, Soldiers as True Heroes in Kadapa
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan attended a parent-teacher meeting at a government high school in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The event was part of the state-wide Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting initiative introduced by AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh. The program was conducted across 45,000 government schools, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh attending a meeting in Bapatla.
Pawan Kalyan interacted with students and their parents, inquiring about their studies and school conditions. He explained that he chose Kadapa for the visit because of its historical significance as a land of libraries and learning.
During the event, Pawan Kalyan remarked that real heroes are not from films but teachers and soldiers who sacrifice without fanfare or “background music.” He urged students to respect and recognize their teachers as heroes.
He expressed hope for higher salaries for teachers and pledged to work toward that goal, acknowledging the challenges ahead. He also stressed the need for teachers to receive nutritious food due to their physically demanding job.
Pawan Kalyan advised parents to monitor their children’s smartphone usage, ensuring devices are used for educational purposes rather than harmful distractions.
He assured the audience of the government’s commitment to addressing school-related issues despite limited resources. He warned that legal action, including charges under the Goonda Act, would be taken against those encroaching on school lands.
