Minister Nara Lokesh has strongly condemned the incident and stated that the Srikakulam police are taking necessary action against those responsible.

The incident involves a man named Venkata Ramana, who reportedly runs an organization called "Indian Army Calling" in Srikakulam district. Claiming to be a retired Army officer, he allegedly charges up to ₹5 lakh per person for training aspirants for Army recruitment.

In the viral video, the organization’s director, Ramana, is seen brutally assaulting a trainee using an electric wire. The video sparked outrage online, with many netizens tagging Minister Nara Lokesh, urging him to take action.

Responding promptly, Minister Lokesh condemned the attack and assured that the Srikakulam police are investigating the matter. Reports suggest the incident occurred in December 2023. The police have registered a case and initiated an inquiry into the incident.
