Nellore to Become a Smart City by March: Minister Narayana
Minister Narayana has announced plans to transform Nellore city into a smart city. Speaking at a review meeting held at the Nellore Municipal Corporation office, the minister outlined the government’s commitment to urban development and addressing illegal land encroachments.
The minister stated that by March next year, parks and central dividers in the city will be beautified, with a total of 16 new parks planned for construction. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with local donors, urging them to adopt parks as part of this initiative to improve public spaces.
In addition, Minister Narayana issued a strong warning against those who have encroached on government land, stating that strict legal action will be taken against them. He reiterated the government’s focus on addressing such issues to ensure orderly urban development.
Criticizing the previous administration, Minister Narayana accused former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of authoritarian governance over the past five years, claiming it caused significant hardship for the people. He assured that the current government is dedicated to resolving public issues and improving the quality of life for citizens.
