Review Meeting Held for Vijayawada Development Works and Amaravati Railway Project

Municipal and Urban Development Minister Narayana met with farmers from several villages and local MLAs regarding the proposed railway line passing through Amaravati. Farmers requested that land acquisition for the project be avoided, suggesting instead that land be procured through land pooling.

Since these villages are adjacent to the capital region, farmers sought inclusion in the pooling scheme. Minister Narayana assured the farmers that the issue would be discussed with the Chief Minister and promised to ensure justice for them.

The villages affected by the new railway line include Karlapudi, Pedaparimi, Tadikonda, and Nidamukkala, located in the Pedakurapadu and Tadikonda constituencies. Minister Narayana held discussions with MLAs Bhashyam Praveen and Shravan Kumar, as well as the farmers from these regions.

Separately, Minister Narayana also conducted a review meeting in Vijayawada with municipal corporation officials and public representatives. This meeting, held at the CRDA central office, included MLAs Bonda Uma and Gadde Ramamohan, VMC Commissioner Dhyanchandra, and other officials. The minister reviewed pending development projects, town planning matters, and issued various directives to the officials.
